This concludes the prologue to Red’s Planet. I’ll be taking a couple of weeks to catch up a bit before I start to post Chapter 1, but look for some behind-the-scenes goodies in the meanwhile!

Fun stuff Eddie, great job. Looking forward to more!
Thanks Tom! And thanks for the really nice words over at growlybeast.com. I’m not used to being the example of how something is done right!
Nice . . . love the dialogue between ‘George’ and the radio show host as the action takes place. ‘I’d imagine many people wish that for you.” Funny!
Good ol’ George! Glad you got a laugh out of it Mike.
Cool Beans! Cant wait to read more!
Can’t wait to create more Vince! I think Chapter 1 will really set the tone of the story. I’m really excited about it!
I can hear the voice of the radio caller in my head. Can’t wait to see where this is going!
Thanks Joel! Chapter One will start very soon and we will meet our protagonist. Can’t wait to draw her again!
A great prologue for sure. Looking forward to more!
Thanks so much Matt! And everyone—be sure to click on Matt’s name to visit his strip Robot Beach! It’s a beautifully done comic!
Sensational, Eddie. Again, thanx so much for the autographed copy.
You’re very welcome! Sorry we’re so lame that it didn’t get there for Christmas.
Great prologue. I love the old timers expression of “For Crying in the Mud”, that’s a great line. I’m so excited to see where this is going and what lies ahead. As always great art work and great story telling, you’ve definitely got me intrigued.
“For Crying in the Mud” was a phrase my wife heard a co-worker say many years ago. We started coming up with some of our own like “for corn-sake” and “for the love of corn!” but nothing beats the original!
Absusmurfly splendid ol’ boy. (you n quote me bout dat)
Thanks Keith! I almost marked your cryptic comment as “spam” but then said to myself, that sounds like something a Keith I know would say!
Eddie,
Great art as always. Looking forward to more.

I’m really loving this!
The style and the combination of whimsical and serious reminds me of Bone.
Great stuff, going straight into my RSS reader!
Nice cut back to the AM radio, perfect ending for the prologue.
Eddie,
I stand here watching greatness unfolding before my eyes. Don’t get a big head but, yes, I am speaking of you. Remember, I am NOT surprised. The kids and I REALLY enjoy the chapter and the dialogue (both verbal and non verbal). I so like how you allow people to use their own imagination to what it going on with the character’s thoughts. I am excited for you brother. Can’t wait; MORE, MORE, MORE!!
