Brilliant. Loving the colours! Great shot as well for a crusty old guy!

  2. Greg Bulmash says:

One word for panel 3…. “Pull!”

Gotta agree with Kev. The coloring on this is awesome. I’m partially colorblind, so I almost never get blown away by colors, but I’m loving the color work here.

  3. Looks like they took the smartest one. ;)

That old man is such a great character. He did exactly the kind of thing one would expect, and being an experience old coot hit the bull’s eye. Looks like the bull didn’t much like it either.

Gorgeously spooky artwork, beautifully drawn and coloured. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

    • Eddie says:

LOL! The smartest one! Well, it may not come through in what we’ve seen so far, but old Zeke is actually a pretty smart guy, he’s just a bit stubborn! And you got to hand him this: he really does love that dog to take on a massive ufo!

Thanks for commenting Jande! Glad you liked it.

  4. Og says:

You gotta be careful, shooting at these UFO types. Sometimes, they don’t react well to bullets. :)

    • Eddie says:

You know, in all the UFO reports you hear about, you never hear that some good ol’ boy has taken a few shots at it. Don’t you think that wou;d keep a few of them away? Or at least out of the South! ;)

  5. Og says:

(Oh, and I love the story…)

  6. Ginny says:

Isn’t my dad great? I watched him do that spin around UFO effect in the last panel last night!

  7. Mike M says:

It’s glowing red . . . that can’t be good. Great storytelling. I’m not colorblind at all and I love the colors, too. ( The gent reminds me a lot of my father-in-law. That’s a plus, not a minus . . .)

  8. Chris says:

He better reload that old shotgun of his, it looks like that ship took his fighting words to heart.

  9. Novil says:

… that was not very smart.
