Their Here!!! I can’t wait to see what awaits our weary travelers. Maybe a fire arms not the best way to say hi, but man I don’t blame him for getting it. I really like the expression on both characters faces in the last panel and the casting of the shadow, such great eye for details.
I clicked over here from Tom Richmond’s page. Here’s what I posted there:
Wow Tom, thanks much for the pointer-over to this site. I’m used to your effusive praise of other artists, but I think you short-changed your bud this time. His stuff is A-Maaaz-Ing. Writing, pacing, shot selection, character design, color… what isn’t strong? Jeff Smith’s “Bone” saga has a worthy successor!
Thanks Steve! I’m very humbled by your kind words and I hope I can live up to your praise—though I doubt I’m worthy of Jeff’s mantle.
And I don’t feel short-changed by Tom at all (well, maybe about the Married with Children comic, but that was years ago and I’m starting to get over it). Actually, I feel quite the opposite— seeing the great write-up about Red’s Planet on the MAD Blog was a very nice and unexpected surprise and I’m honored Tom took the time to blog about me.
I’m loving this strip…want more NOW!!!!
Artwork and colours are awesome. Look forward to next installment, keep ‘em coming and thanks!
No, thank you Kev! Glad you’re enjoying the comic and, rest assured, there is much more to come!
Great lookin’ page, Eddie!

Thanks Todd! Always love reading your analysis!
A beautiful page man. The lighting is really great. Great colors as well.
Thanks Matt!
I just discovered Red’s Planet today and it’s fantastic. Can’t wait to see more!
Thanks Jeff! Glad you found it!

And it was the best 20 bucks I’ve spent in years!
Haha everybody with a pick-up truck that old and a beagle has a shotgun hanging from the back window. You’ve perfectly captured who this guy is.
