It’s not like the assistant can handle the info, it’s that the people asking the questions can’t handle the speed at which the assistant can process their question.
And from this picture you get a feeling that most of these guys and galls are in the same boat, they all come from worlds with little to no contact with aliens.
Then you’ve never been stuck in a bus that has had an accident, I have it sucks.
physiologically it comes down to dominance. every passenger is just trying to ensure that they will be rescued, none necessarily want to be in charge yet at the same time they just want to control their situation, because lack of control sucks. In the above situation its made worse by the fact there are multiple species, Mr Tawee has the unfortunate position of being an Arab that survived an American plane crash. (no office intended to any one, I’m being intentionally stereotypical)
yelling and screaming doesn’t help any one, except maybe the one yelling and screaming feel better
All the above is true, but the green alien in the white robe has a point. The droid does seem to be the likeliest one to know what’s going on, and he does act like he’s in charge……..
I keep hearing this funny noise outside my window… Anyways, I find it funny that the Grays have some sort of fur on them… Just thought that was an unusual interpretation.
Or poor Mr. Tewee is just a member of a race that _resembles_ greys but actually _aren’t_ greys. Like how in the months after September 11, there were many hate crimes against men who wore turbans for whatever reason, but weren’t muslem.

i just had a horrible thought
i remember the boss of the robot asking to protect the collection
what if he considered the whole people aboard his ship his collection?
It says September 3th, but it’s already way into the 4th when it updated
It was posted just before midnight, so, depending on where you are, it may have already been the 4th.
And I would of thought that the robot mothership assistant could cope with information overload.

Having survived a plane crash, I will say the first questions out of our mouths were:
1) Is everyone OK?
2) What happened?
and
3) Calm down!
Strangly enough that 3rd one was mostly said by the panicky people. One Lady kept saying that even after we got her off the plane.

As we say in America, hold that thought.
He’ll need help, then.
