UPDATE: Color is done! Thanks for everyone’s comments of support. Starting on the next page…now!
Sorry for being late with this week’s page— busy, busy, busy week at the day job. I won’t have the time to color the page until the weekend, but here is the page in glorious black and white — despite having been criticized in a recent podcast for putting up work that’s still in the process. I’d rather give everyone the next installment than to keep you waiting.

Don’t mind the B&W at all! Audrey II has relatives in space! Nice stuff. especially the bottom left panel, lots of stuff going on but clear to follow! Look forward to the ‘colorized’ version!
Thanks for the update. Color is good, but black and white strengthens the imagination.
Thanks Lee — love your demo reel! Great voice!
Thanks. If you ever do animation, I’m available.
Black and white, color, you can make the next one out of match sticks. Just keep ‘em coming.
B&W or color, don’t matter. Can’t stop laughing or loving the awesome!
And thanks for creating a strip that I and my youngest daughter can enjoy together, you totally rock. Keep it up!
Thanks mouseanderson! Great to hear.
Yeah, Black & White is fine if it’s detective noir or something Art Spiegelman wrote. It’s Red’s Planet, not Assumed Red Planet.
Are they playing NFL rules?
I love Red’s Planet, all the time.
I wonder what the significance of that egg actually is?
For anyone who doesn’t quite remember where this was first seen:

I like the B/W. That way we get a good look at your wonderful lineart. – Not that I’d mind seeing it in colour, but I already enjoy looking at it right now.
I’m with PJ…it’s all good. Really enjoying how you roll out the inhabitants, giving them all their own introductions.
OK I read it all from start to here. I’m hooked!
Thanks Colleen!
I love your comic. No matter what shape it’s in it’s beautiful!
The two plant life forms remind me of the Goofy Gopher from Warner Brothers. I can’t help but read their lines with heir voices.
the question is probably stupid, but what the plant meant by it saw Red driving?
