Chapter One 11

Chapter One 11

Here’s the color! thanks for everyone’s patience!
Very busy in the studio this week and I wasn’t able to get the page inked and colored by today. Still I don’t want to stop the flow of the story, so here is the penciled version of page 11. I’ll upload the completed page this weekend.

  2. LazyReader says:

Cool new page but, somethin’s goin on here. Either i’ve gone color blind or someone ran out of crayons.

  3. LazyReader says:

Can’t wait to see the color page. I read the Chapter 4 preview and found it hilarious. It’s like feeding a tribble, only tribbles don’t chase and bite. I’m still confused why she is missing her sneakers. You think she would need them to hike through some alien planet.

  4. adriana says:

Nice to see your pencil work! I’m falling in love with Red’s personality the more we get acquainted with her…she’s so spunky! :D

  5. LazyReader says:

If I were stranded on a alien planet, the first thing I would do (besides go insane without TV or internet), would be to bring a vast amount of shoes.

  6. LazyReader says:

Show me the money!….. I mean the color.

  7. JoeFoo says:

I love panel four. Red’s body language and gesture are tremendous. Very cool stuff, Eddie.

  8. LazyReader says:

If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear that’s Dom DeLuise or Paul Prudhomme as the sherriff of this town.

    • Eddie says:

At least he doesn’t look like Walter Matthau like the Mrs. Foster. Although I did consider just making all the supporting characters look like Matthau.

  9. Ackers says:

Just found “Red’s Planet” through SD7. Fantastic stuff! Love the art and the storyline. Keep up the great work.

  10. Carlo says:

I actually missed the penciled version but the colored page looks great!
Night colors are still a struggle for me but you make it look so natural. Fantastic work! :)

  11. Kev Brett says:

  12. LazyReader says:

I found this comic by accident. In fact just about every comic I read now has been found by looking at from other comics. Up until 1 1/2 weeks ago, I never heard of spacedock7.

  13. Tom says:

I don’t know why, but I keep reading Red with the voice of “Kari” from the Incredibles :) Great strip.

  14. LazyReader says:

This time?… looks like Red has been in trouble with the cops before. Can’t wait for the next page. Keep em’ commin.

  15. keith says:

“Foster parents named Foster….luv it. :)

  16. Page-Mistress says:

She has a point. What kinda foster parent, school, and teachers don’t even notice a kid isn’t there?

  17. Critter Rhode says:

I have an uncle who last name is Foster. And he and my aunt where foster parents to my now cousin.
    But it’s a good joke.

  18. Steve says:

’64 Fairlane? Man after my own heart…
