Not only do I love this comic because of the great story and artwork, but I’ve just realised – I have the same sneakers as Red! Hey – high five? Anyone? I said HEY!
Poor Red, she sure feels like a reject I’m sure. I remember feeling that way sometimes as a kid, everyone seemed to getting heard but you. You’d find yourself at the back of the group, talking to either be over talked, or just ignored. In fact I’ve got some folks I know now as an adult that still over talk ya, very annoying.
I know from the preview that something great is about to happen to Red, and right now that’s the only solace that her life is about to get exciting.
I love the soft light in the middle panels! That is exactly how morning looks to me on the colder mornings (well, except for seeing stuff through it, but this is still the best depiction I’ve seen anywhere).
What does that yellow glow mean? Is this IT? Hovering spaceship Ray? Gorgeous as usual. Love the way you do the facial and body expressions.
No, that yellow glow is just the early morning light. But that’s ok, I don’t know what early morning light looks like either
