Thanks! It helped that I saw a sunrise this past week. And I happy to say, after carrying that opening panel in my head for practically two years, it came out pretty darn close to what I was imagining. That’s rare!!
Just wonderful. One of the most evocative establishing shots I’ve seen in a comic in a while. It establishes such a clear tone that I feel like I’m already deep in this world. Also, it helps that it’s a beautiful drawing. Great stuff, but you already know that.
Isn’t that the way it usually was, they’d scream for you to hurry up, get ready, only to have you slow down long enough to eat. I love your work, and can’t wait to see how Red come’s in contact with the ET’s. Your details on the house and farm area are awesome. Great work as always, can’t wait to see more.
I love the lighting in the first panel, the colors look great! I like the handprints in the second panel too . Now about those speech bubbles…. Sorry, couldn’t resist !
